There are a myriad of enjoyable activities, ranging from the relaxed to the energetic, from simply soaking in the view to taking part.
We’ve compiled a list of some of our favourite Clevedon based things to do.

Climb Nīkau Pā, rising above the Clevedon Scenic Reserve, to enjoy the incredible 360 degree view.
2.
Paddle down the Wairoa River, meandering through the valley.
3.
Grab a coffee from one of our great cafes and take a walk (with your dog) around the Clevedon A&P Showgrounds.
4.
Take the kids strawberry picking and at the end of it enjoy a delicious strawberry ice cream.

Hang out with friends and family at the weekend markets.

Grab a dozen oysters and have a picnic on the beach.

Cycle the Hūnua Traverse.

Watch a game of polo at one of Clevedon’s polo fields.

Walk around Whakakaiwhara/Duder Regional Park, especially picturesque nearing sunset.

Take a flight in a small plane from Ardmore, the bustling airport home to many flying schools as well as the amazing warbirds.
