Please join us to remember the contribution, suffering and sacrifice of all who served in conflict this ANZAC Day.
With thanks to a group of volunteers from across a number of local groups and organisations, this year’s commemorations will once again be held at the Clevedon Monument.
Lest we forget.
Start Time: 9.30am, Tuesday 25 April 2023
Venue: Clevedon Monument (corner Monument Road and Papakura-Clevedon Road)
Wet weather venue: Clevedon Presbyterian Church
You are warmly invited to attend this important commemorative event, which will be led by members of the community, including the members of the congregations of Clevedon Presbyterian Church, the Anglican Parish of Clevedon, and Te Tokotoru Tapu Mataitai, local groups – Scouts, Choirs and Musicians, Clevedon and Districts Historical Society – and Clevedon School.
If you wish to lay a wreath – either personally or on behalf of any organisation, or for any further information, please contact Gina Sanders in the first instance: 09 2928 047 or gina.sanders@xtra.co.nz
Please gather on the Reserve area and avoid congregating near the roads. Programmes and some seating will be available. Please be mindful of keeping our reserve clean and tidy.
After the service tea, coffee and ANZAC biscuits supplied by the combined Parishes will be offered at Clevedon Presbyterian Church. The main road will not be closed to traffic, so please walk on the footpaths, following the piper.
